Vodka

Vodka is a distilled alcohol that is usually transparent and has no discernible fragrance or flavor. Different styles and varieties of distilled vodka are produced in Russia, Poland, and Sweden, although vodka can be defined as any liquor manufactured from water and agricultural ethanol. While the majority of distilled vodka is unaged, some kinds are rested and aged to impart the flavor of the barrel.
Eastern and Western distilled vodka are the two main kinds of vodka, but these categories pertain to the technique rather than the area of origin. Eastern-style or “craft vodkas” retain some natural flavour from their basic components. Western-style vodkas are more filtered to provide a cleaner liquor with a more neutral flavor.
