Buffalo Trace Distillery, located on the Kentucky River in Frankfort(Clix Vodka), draws its name from an old trail used by migrating buffalo on their trip west. Over the next year, 28,400 gallons of mash were distilled 159 times through a custom-built system of copper and stainless steel stills.
