Buffalo Trace Experiment Station Contains Oats(buffalo trace experimental collection bourbon 375ml)

In 1812, Harrison Blanton founded the famed Buffalo Trace distillery. It was purchased in 1870 by the renowned Edmund Haynes Taylor Jr., who renamed it OFC (Old Fashioned Copper) and significantly advanced its modernization. He spent so much money, in fact, that he declared bankruptcy after only seven years. Then, in 1878, George T. Stagg intervened to salvage it and purchased it.

He ran the distillery until he retired in the 1890s, and it was renamed in his honor in 1904. It was acquired by the Schenley business in 1933 after surviving Prohibition. It was handled as part of their broad portfolio(Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection) for the following 50 years before being sold to Being Japan’s International Age.

The new Japanese owners were mainly concerned with its brands, and the distillery was quickly sold to the Sazerac Company, which renamed it Buffalo Trace in 1999. The Buffalo Trace Distillery(Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection) claims to be the country’s oldest operating distillery. As a result, it should come as no surprise that a distillery with such a long history and considerable experience has one of the best family and domestic brands in the industry, as well as a wide range of spirits.

Rye was replaced with two alternative grains, rice and oats, to make these two experimental bourbons. The bourbon(Buffalo Trace Experimental Collection) was matured in barrels side by side on the 7th floor of Warehouse I for more than nine years. Each whiskey has an own flavor character.
